BIOLOGICAL Born to the
late Mr. Elijah Mensah Somiah, formerly chemistry tutor at Prempeh College,
Kumasi and Madam Elizabeth Wireko, currently Basic education Tutor, Sefwi
Bekwai, on Monday 12th May, 1986 at
Sefwi Bekwai in the Bibiani-Ahwiaso-Bekwai district of the northern part of the
Western Region of Ghana. At a time
when the famous ‘ Kofi Nkrabea’ ritual syndicate had freshly occurred with it accompanying
talks and security treat, I spent the early days of my life without my father,
who I proudly hold in the highest recognition. History has it that, the so
called ‘ wise, educated, and outspoken opinion leaders were arrested and
detained by the western regional police command, Sekondi for interrogations to
aid the investigations for the ‘Man ritualist’ behind the murder of ‘Kofi
Nkrabea’, May his soul rest in Peace. Not long
after my father’s acquittal, when I was barely 6 - 8months old (by my own
calculations), he took ill for one of this mischievous spiritual attacks as
very characteristic of one hailing from a royal family, hence popularly
designated ‘ Nana John ‘, a name which has lived on to even push his right
identity to the background. I dare not ask after Elijah Mensah Somiah, because
it may take some few insiders to know who I seek. I have lived
my life with little memory of my Father and I dedicate every bit of this to Him.
